[Early in the day, people throughout the village might spot a suspicious rainbow streak jetting upwards into the sky. Higher and higher and higher she flies... Until, suddenly, that rainbow streak is rapidly plummeting down, faster and faster until there's a resounding CRASH!

Oh, was that your house she bumped into? Maybe your garden? Business? Whatever the case, there will be a few of these ridiculous crashes until Rainbow, being the stubborn pegasus that she is, moves onto plan B.

A bit later, something a little strange will appear... a cloud floating around the village. Now, seeing clouds in the sky isn't all that abnormal. Just another part of everyday weather.

But what about clouds that float ridiculously close to rooftops? Clouds that hover suspiciously over buildings, people, and are isolated from the others? Tiny clouds that, if one looks close enough, they may catch a bit of a rainbow fringe, sometimes a pair of binoculars, over the edge of the fluffy white stuff.

That's right. This cloud is spying on you strange people. ...Or whatever's up in the cloud, anyway.

Feel free to witness either event-- Dash's crash landings from the lovely barrier or her recon mission.]

[... She's pretty sure that if that thing that just crashed a few steps ahead of her had crashed into her she would be dead. In fact she has seen her life flash in her eyes for a moment.

Luka's first reaction is to look at the sky, expecting to see several meteors or objects in general falling towards the village at a crazy speed. But no more come, so she moves to inspect aka stare at the falling obj-... What the hell is that?]

[Fact: Clouds aren't usually low enough that even the fliers of Luceti can just soar right over them.

They certainly aren't low enough to brush the roofs of the buildings.

So one of Luceti's resident witches can probably be excused for finding this extremely suspicious.

Arche banks towards the cloud, flying in for a closer look.]

[...ugh. For a few brief moments, this cartoon pony is completely still, groaning as she gets back up to her feet, shakes off a little, and looks back up to the sky. She hasn't noticed Luka just yet, and she mutters something to herself.]

There's gotta be some way to break through that thing...

[Whoa, what? That strange... thing is flying? But then she'll blow her cover!

Not that she's scared-- no way. Definitely not scared. Just gotta stay stealthy... Which means moving that cloud away from this pink-haired... monkey-thing.]

[It talks. It's talking and it looks like a horse, but smaller. And blue, with rainbow streaks, and wings. And it's talking.]

... Pony.

[Her eyes, are basically star filled as she stares at the pony.]

[Oh, huh? Somepony's behind her?

Giiive her a second to turn around, and--]

[You're not getting away, strange cloud with binoculars in it! And what looks like rainbow colored hair! Arche's curiosity is very much piqued now and she's absolutely determined to figure out what's going on. She puts on the speed, lowering herself over her broom and aiming straight for Rainbow.]

[What the hay?

Without even thinking, she's backed up a little. Blinking, she rubs one eye with a hoof (somehow breaking the rules of horse anatomy)... and then she stares.

... And stares. Just be glad this isn't Fluttershy. Dash isn't gonna book it, but she is a little weirded out here.]

What're you supposed to be?

[Well, that's new. But if that's how she's gonna play...

Time to pick up a little speed. Makes things more interesting!]

A girl.

[The reply comes easily. And she's not bothered by being stared as if she's strange, she knows the feeling.]

A girl what, though? I mean, you're obviously not a pony.

[Annnd definitely not a monkey... or a rabbit... or a diamond dog, or anything she's ever seen in Equestria. Go figure.]

[Then it's time for a race! Broom versus cloud, who will win?

Of course, there's the fact that Arche cheats...]

Air Thrust!

[A tiny, localized whirlwind materializes right in front of the cloud. Look out, Rainbow!]

[And she can use magic too? Yikes!

She doesn't even have time to move the cloud outta the way. Once it gets caught in the whirlwind, Rainbow Dash gets flung right into the air, and she has quickly flap her wings in order to steady herself.

...Except now she's completely visible. Pff, well, that's not gonna stop her from out racing this floating, magic... pink thing. After the initial shock wears off, Dash is charging forward once again! Hah!]

[And now that Arche can see who she's been chasing, she's even more determined to chase her down! She's seen pegasi before (well, one) but nothing like this.

Actually, she seems a little similar to someone else Arche's met once...]

Hey, wait up!

[She puts on more speed, or at least tries to. There's only so much her broom can do.]

Do you know Twilight Sparkle?

[She's booking it like crazy without even realizing how much she's outspeeding Arche-- at least until she hears the words "Twilight Sparkle".

Aaaaand just like that, she's slowing down-- turning around, for that matter.]

How do you know Twilight?

[Did she end up in this weird, distinctly non-Equestrian place? This raises about a bazillion questions all at once.]

[Arche brakes just short of Rainbow when she turns around, stopping right in front of the pegasus's face.]

Well, I met her once... over the journals, not in person. Er, how much do you know about this place?

The journals?

[What, does she mean that weird book? Pff, Rainbow totally left that out in the woods.

The second question, though...]

All I know is that it's weird. The clouds move on their own, all the animals take care of themselves, and I haven't seen any ponies. Plus, I've got these...

[She turns around, showing the extra set of wings.]

And who ever heard of a four-winged pegasus?

[ That is...rather strange. Obviously the cloud following Helios goes unnoticed for quite some time. He's a bit of an absentminded derp that way. But walking by the bakery he will notice it in the window and slightly jump. ]

Oh! That's rather...odd. [ Helios will go over to investigate because that's what he does on principle, you see. He is just tilting his head to one side as he stares back up at that cloud. A hand will be going to his chin. ]

I didn't even notice... [ You don't notice much Helios. ]

[A bakery, huh? Pinkie Pie would be right at home... But the stuff at Sugarcube Corner is probably better. Loads better.

Still, she'll keep hovering right there, watching Helios very carefully. So, whatcha gonna do, four-eyes? This cloud is totally inconspicuous.]

[Heisuke was out wandering around when there suddenly appeared to be a cloud. A cloud that was...staring at him. What.

He stops what he was doing and stares back up at the cloud. With...rainbow fringe?]

.......................What.

[Ope, head's going back behind the fluffiness. Nothing to see, strange man-beast. Just your everyday cloud, floating along!

... Though it would be kinda fun to jump out and spook him.]

............[Alright, seriously? The cloud just moved. And that is not an everyday cloud because everyday clouds don't follow him. 8( WHAT IS GOING ON.]

.........................HEY!

[Must resist laughing... This is too funny.

Totally has the potential for a great prank. But first? She's just gonna sit there for a while.]

[Staring. Staring....eh, bored. Heisuke shrugs and goes back to his walk.]

[Well, once he starts walking, that cloud's gonna hover right over him and then, a split second later...

Someone just made a bit of thunder, bahaha! Don't worry, no shocking here.]
