[Early in the day, people throughout the village might spot a suspicious rainbow streak jetting upwards into the sky. Higher and higher and higher she flies... Until, suddenly, that rainbow streak is rapidly plummeting down, faster and faster until there's a resounding CRASH!
Oh, was that your house she bumped into? Maybe your garden? Business? Whatever the case, there will be a few of these ridiculous crashes until Rainbow, being the stubborn pegasus that she is, moves onto plan B.
A bit later, something a little strange will appear... a cloud floating around the village. Now, seeing clouds in the sky isn't all that abnormal. Just another part of everyday weather.
But what about clouds that float ridiculously close to rooftops? Clouds that hover suspiciously over buildings, people, and are isolated from the others? Tiny clouds that, if one looks close enough, they may catch a bit of a rainbow fringe, sometimes a pair of binoculars, over the edge of the fluffy white stuff.
That's right. This cloud is spying on you strange people. ...Or whatever's up in the cloud, anyway.
Feel free to witness either event-- Dash's crash landings from the lovely barrier or her recon mission.]

[He points over towards the restaurant a little distance away.] There's the finish line! On your marks...!

She's set!
And when it's time to take off, she'll be rolling
around at the speed of sound.Despite being a quadruped, she's pretty good at it. Blame cartoon logic.]

[Eggman launches himself into a fine skip, frolicking at top speed towards the goal. He's actually surprisingly athletic with it too, and is even enjoying himself. Skipping is fun!]

With all this extra effort to be smug, Eggman is sure to screw up. But it's not exactly the longest race. Will he make it?]

So what's she gonna do? Double her speed! Who cares if she gets dizzy? She's not gonna lose to some... Egg-man!]

But instead, Eggman trips over, sending himself flying through the air. On landing he does an accidental, sort-of-impressive somersault of his own, before landing painfully flat on his face.]
Gaaaaaah- Oof! [He's just going to twitch there for a few moments, in pain and shame.]

While speeding up her cartwheeling. She's so distracted that she's not really paying attention to where she's going annnnd--
Yep. Seems she crashed right into one of the stores.]

So Eggman scrambles to his feet and, despite being in pain, heroically skips towards the restaurant in order to win the race.]
Ha haaa!

[But all bets are off. After shaking herself off, Dash leans back for a split second and then rushes towards the restaurant, doing some crazy... air-somersaults.
It's definitely weird.]

And it's a photo finish! Because
I don't want to losethat horrible crash totally gave Eggman a chance. But with things so close who is the winner? Eggman... seems to think it's him, judging by the little dance he's doing now while laughing maniacally.]no subject

[Hubris, so much hubris. Dash flicks one of her hooves in a sort of dismissive gesture, looking totally smug again.]

I just want to conclude this thread because it is win
