[Early in the day, people throughout the village might spot a suspicious rainbow streak jetting upwards into the sky. Higher and higher and higher she flies... Until, suddenly, that rainbow streak is rapidly plummeting down, faster and faster until there's a resounding CRASH!

Oh, was that your house she bumped into? Maybe your garden? Business? Whatever the case, there will be a few of these ridiculous crashes until Rainbow, being the stubborn pegasus that she is, moves onto plan B.

A bit later, something a little strange will appear... a cloud floating around the village. Now, seeing clouds in the sky isn't all that abnormal. Just another part of everyday weather.

But what about clouds that float ridiculously close to rooftops? Clouds that hover suspiciously over buildings, people, and are isolated from the others? Tiny clouds that, if one looks close enough, they may catch a bit of a rainbow fringe, sometimes a pair of binoculars, over the edge of the fluffy white stuff.

That's right. This cloud is spying on you strange people. ...Or whatever's up in the cloud, anyway.

Feel free to witness either event-- Dash's crash landings from the lovely barrier or her recon mission.]

[ Oh you shouldn't knock it before you try it. This bakery has saved Helios and his room mates one too many a time.

He will step closer walking around the cloud possibly even reaching out to touch it. ]

How exactly are you doing that? [ He is talking to a cloud. Do not mind him. It's clearly no ordinary one that's for sure. ]

[Let's see. Keep being stealthy or get a chance to gloat... Choices, choices---

Hah! Humble, she is not. Behold, as she pokes her head up and sorta leans over the edge of the cloud.]

Pff. This is nothing! Even a filly could pull it off.

[ Helios takes a step back almost hitting into the side of the building as he does so. ] Oh! Hello there! Y-You were in there the whole time? Ha! Fascinating.

What's a f-filly? [ He also isn't very phased by you talking Rainbow Dash. Actually he's smiling like a derp and still regarding you curiously. ]

[This guy doesn't know what a filly is? Geez, what kinda rock did he live under?

But she'll roll with it. It's obvious that the people here don't know much about ponies.]

They're mares who're still growing. Kids, basically.

[ Not under but on top of. And it's a big one named Earth, that's what rock. Helios, albeit, is not horse savvy well...not as much as other people. ]

Ah. I see. Mares...as in horses. Ponies those types of things, hm. [ He contemplates this for a moment. It's not really that hard to gather. Since they appeared to be a horse with magical powers. He smiles to himself shaking his head a little. The people you meet in Luceti. ] Oh! My apologies! I'm Helios Sprensonne. It's a pleasure to meet you. Did you, um, just arrive?

Helios? Got it.

[This guy sure is formal. Has a funny name, too... but she'll keep it short and simple. And after a beat.]

Yeah, I just got here. Still trying to get a feel of the place; that's why I was riding that cloud.

[Because it's totally less suspicious than a colorful horse spying on 'em. Yep.]

Ah. I see. The town is always a good place to start. I could show you around if you'd like? I-I mean if you haven't seen most of it yet. I'd imagine flying to be a bit faster than walking at any rate.

It's faster, but I was getting kinda bored up here. Sure, I could spook a few people, but after a while it gets old.

[Soooo... yeah. She's gonna swoop on down.]

I'm afraid a good few of us aren't easily spooked. Luceti does give you a bit of a...wide selection of happenings. [ His eyes widen as she swoops down from that cloud. ] You're a Pegasus?! Ah, I-I mean. I just haven't seen one in sometime.

You mean you've actually seen one before?

[Whew, finally someone who's at least sorta familiar with her kind. Hopefully.]

Oh of course! Many actually. My world has other things too. Unicorns, Kirin, dragons. Those sorts of things.

Unicorns and dragons? Doesn't sound too different from Equestria, but what's a Kirin?

Equestria? So that's where you're from then. Ah, well, it has many forms but some have the head of a dragon with horns. Or a single horn and the body of a tiger with scales. Some have fire covering their entire body and they're rather peaceful creatures. Even though the description is a bit misleading. [ A smile. ]

They're said to punish the wicked actually.

So they're like some kinda dragon... tigers? Weird, but I guess they sound pretty cool.

[Definitely nothing like the creatures she's seen in Equestria.]

Ah yes something like that. There's many different families and types in my world. [ Just a smile and nod from him. ]

There's actually one here. Though they look more like a unicorn than a dragon tiger.

So they're like a pony.

[This is relevant to her interests.]

I guess I'll keep my eyes peeled.

[After all, if there's another pony around, at least that's something familiar.]

[ Helios chuckles. ] Yes you could say that.

He's rather nice too. Rokuta, if you ever happen to pass by him. He's, ah, not usually in his true form. [ Helios will motion to himself. ] He takes on a more humanistic look usually.

Why would he do something like that? There's nothing wrong with being a pony.

[Unless...]

But I guess that's one way to blend in.

Oh of course not. There's nothing wrong with being who or what you are.

[ Unfortunately it's rather a necessity in his world. ] But blending in sometimes helps.

Yeah, I can tell. I've gotten some pretty weird looks from people here. Guess they're not used to ponies.

[A beat.]

But I still wouldn't wanna change. Fitting in's overrated, if you ask me.

Ah, well, it just makes you more unique than the rest of us! Nothing wrong with a bit of diversity I always say. There's plenty of different worlds here all with their own unique beings of sorts too. You'll fit in soon enough.

[ Helios smiles. ]

So it's not just hue-mans around here? [And kirins.]

Anything else I should know about?

You might find that they look like humans, but they're not simply that. Lots of people here can preform magic. And, well, there's also beings like you and Rokuta here.

[ Helios pauses before looking at his journal. ] Has anyone told you anything about this place so far?

I know a thing or two. Stuff about experiments and the creeps in charge.

[A beat.]

And I already tried busting through the barrier a few times.

Has anyone told you about the draft? [ A small sigh. He doesn't like talking about it in all honesty. But it's something that needs to told to every new feather out there. ]

Oh, dear. You weren't hurt were you? [ He be looking at you a little worriedly now Rainbow Dash. ]
