Okay, so. I get this place is full of hue-mans and everything, but I still don't get why you guys have to eat meat. Ever thought that maybe those cows don't want to be eaten? You guys have tons of other stuff to eat, so can't you guys let up on the animals? I dunno, it just seems wrong to me, especially since the cows back home could talk just like anypony I know.

[Nevermind the fact that she's seen glue in the general store. Mhmmm.

Though, she doesn't wanna stick to something so morbid, sooo... moving on!]

Anyway, are there any athletes around here? Practicing stunts on my own is nice and all, but where's the challenge? I can pull off tricks in my sleep. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone'd wanna hang out and maybe compete. Doesn't matter what it is. Running, hoof wrestling... whatever hue-mans do.

[She's about to end it there, but as an afterthought...]

Oh, and I wanna apologize to that red haired hue-man I chased during the experiment. Just letting you know that there's no way I'm gonna hunt you down with a sword again.

[Whew, that was a mouthful. But with that out of the way, she'll be tucking her journal away and swooping down from the roof of C3 to get some business taken care of.

First stop? The general store, to pick up a few odd supplies. Sneezing powder, balloons to fill with water, some thick markers to make a sign... all of it's going to go into a saddle bag she's carrying along with her.

Once that's done, she'll be stopping by the bakery to pick up some goods. And by goods I mean cupcakes. A whole box, plus a chocolate one for herself.

With her supplies gathered and brought back to her apartment, she'll be spending the rest of the day doing crazy stunts above the village. Kicking out clouds, swirling them around, running at full speed from one end of the village to the next... Expect lots of rainbows and craziness overall.]

And that's why it creeped me out at first. Call it a case of culture shock, but I guess you guys don't have talking cows or buffalo.

Nope. I'd say no talking ponies either, but the unicorn we met once could talk. He was pretty helpful actually.

I bet. All the unicorns I know can use magic, which usually comes in handy.

[Especially Twilight's magic.]

He didn't actually use any magic, but he helped power up my friend Mint's so she could save the World Tree.

[Not going to mention how he did that.]

And since I'm going to assume you don't have one of those in your world... If the World Tree dies, my world loses all its magic. So yeah, kind of important there.

Yikes! So that tree was in danger?

Yep. Long story short, there was kind of a war... It drained the world pretty badly, and the tree was just about killed. If we hadn't stopped things when we did, who knows what would have happened.

That sounds almost as bad as the time Nightmare Moon tried to make an eternal night! Maybe even worse.

Eternal night? How the heck does that work?

She was probably gonna use her unicorn powers to keep the sun from rising. Now that you mention it, I wonder why Princess Celestia didn't help out.

[A beat.]

Maybe she was testing us the whole time. [Dash doesn't regret it either way because it brought her and her friends closer together.]

Wait wait wait. She's powerful enough to stop the sun? What is she, a God? Even Dhaos wasn't that strong!

The Princesses are the strongest ponies in Equestria. They control the sun and moon, so it's no big deal for them.

They control the... okay, yeah, that's power on a scale I've never even heard of before. How the heck did you beat her?

We used the Elements of Harmony. It changed her back to her old self, and she hasn't been a problem since.

And what are the Elements of Harmony? Some sort of super-powerful magic artifacts?

Pretty much! They represent honesty, laughter, loyalty, generosity, kindness, and magic.

[And after a brief pause.]

My element's loyalty.

Wait, so... you're telling me they're basically super-concentrated friendship?

Kind of! It's our friendship that helped us use 'em in the first place.

Wow. You guys must be really good friends.

The best. We've been through a lot together.

Before or after you beat an Evil God with the power of friendship?

Bit of both. We went through a lot just to find the Elements, but things haven't completely cooled down since then.

Sounds exciting. So what's happened since?

We took on a dragon, had some crazy parties, and trashed the Grand Galloping Gala. That's not even half of it, either.

Most of the time we don't have to deal with huge threats, but there's still stuff to do.

Just one dragon? Oh, well I suppose you've still got plenty of time left...

[Yeah, she's teasing.]

Fully grown dragons don't show up that much. The only dragon we deal with on a daily basis is Spike, and he's cool.

[Or close to cool. Kid's nice to have around, at any rate.]
