[Early in the day, people throughout the village might spot a suspicious rainbow streak jetting upwards into the sky. Higher and higher and higher she flies... Until, suddenly, that rainbow streak is rapidly plummeting down, faster and faster until there's a resounding CRASH!

Oh, was that your house she bumped into? Maybe your garden? Business? Whatever the case, there will be a few of these ridiculous crashes until Rainbow, being the stubborn pegasus that she is, moves onto plan B.

A bit later, something a little strange will appear... a cloud floating around the village. Now, seeing clouds in the sky isn't all that abnormal. Just another part of everyday weather.

But what about clouds that float ridiculously close to rooftops? Clouds that hover suspiciously over buildings, people, and are isolated from the others? Tiny clouds that, if one looks close enough, they may catch a bit of a rainbow fringe, sometimes a pair of binoculars, over the edge of the fluffy white stuff.

That's right. This cloud is spying on you strange people. ...Or whatever's up in the cloud, anyway.

Feel free to witness either event-- Dash's crash landings from the lovely barrier or her recon mission.]

[That cloud that's being low and suspiciously placed and in general following people? Kazooie notices it. But she doesn't really pay it much attention at first. Still, when you're trying to Glide from rooftop to rooftop, a low-flying cloud is a really annoying visual impediment.

Clearly, the best solution to this is to yell at it.]

Hey, stupid cloud thing! Get outta my face, I'm trying to fly here!

[Well hello, loud, talking bird. Two can play it this game! Have a brightly colored pony, Kazooie.]

Oh yeah? Well, so am I!

[And she is unfazed! Brightly-coloured talking things are quite common in her world.

... Though this may be her first time seeing a pony.]

Oh yeah? Well, you don't see me getting in your way! I'm trying to set a record for rooftop Gliding here!

[... Not that it'll make a difference. She's not going to get a Jiggy out of this...]

[... This is relevant to her interests.]

A record? [Hmmmm...]

I bet I could beat that record.

Oh yeah? You and what army?

You're not the hero here! [Never mind that Kazooie has no right to be bragging about this...]

And you're not even a bird! A bird knows more about flying than some weird blue thing!

[Oooh, you're on now, bird-brain. Rainbow hops up off of the cloud and starts hovering in place.]

And maybe you know a bit about flying, but that goes double for me.

[Oh damnit, so Kazooie just had to pick on somebody who could call her bluff. But she's not backing down!]

Well, I bet you can't do a proper Beak Bomb! [... As if she can do one without being in a backpack, anyway...] You don't even have a beak!

Pfff. Who needs a beak when you've got these babies?

[She holds up two of her legs. Hooves? Aww yeah.

And, to demonstrate further, she kicks that cloud with her hind legs, making it poof.]

[Well, shit.]

Clouds are wimpy! I bet I could peck a cloud and it'd disappear too! [In fact, she is now mentally derailed into looking for a cloud to peck.

... So much for that rooftop flying record. ~~Though Dash can totally remind her of it again.~~]

Oh yeah? Why don't you prove it?

[Oh, she's keeping that record in mind, but this she's gotta see.]

I'll do more than prove it!

[And Kazooie leaps off the rooftop, splaying her wings and Gliding along. Dash's clouds aren't the only clouds around, and though Kazooie can't get to the higher clouds without outright Flying, she's close enough to be able to hit a lower one.

... Which she's going to pseudo-Beak Bomb - not quite a real Beak Bomb, because it doesn't have the weight of anybody behind it, but it is enough to take out a noticeable chunk of cloud... cloudiness.]

Ha! [Yes, Kazooie, your ability to disperse water and ice crystals with your face is beyond compare.]

[...well, she actually did it. Sorta. Dash still won't admit it, though!]

So you took out a chunk. That's nothing!

[Dash is gonna totally use her wings to her advantage and swoop up to kick another cloud out completely. Aw yeah.

And once that's done, she'll land on one of the rooftops.]

[Not one to be easily outdone, Kazooie doubles back on herself, and with some effort, performs a well-timed midair Wing Whack. Suddenly, she's a spinning dervish of red feathers, and the cloud is officially a goner.

Still spinning, she gracefully (well, as gracefully as a spinning cartoon can be...) lands on the rooftop only a foot or so from Dash.]

You were saying?

[Well, touche. Maybe she's not just all talk.]

Fine. But cloud clearing's filly's play. Can you do this?

[She hops up onto a cloud and gives it a good stomp. Now there's some rain pouring down.]

[... Kazooie just gawks. That's just unfair.]

How the heck do you expect me to do that? I don't have those... hoof things. [Since hooves clearly summon rain.]

... I could make it rain if I had my buddy Mumbo around though! He did that back in Cloud Cuckooland.

[Snort.]

Hooves aren't what makes it rain. If they were, then anypony could do it, not just pegasi.

And besides, having a friend do it doesn't count.

So what's special about you that makes you do it, huh? Magic stuff?

... 'Cause Mumbo used magic. He's a shaman! [Like Rainbow Dash knows or cares, Kazooie...]

I bet I could do it if I could do that Luceti magic-thing...

Nope, it's just a pegasus thing.

Here in this place, everybody can learn magic. Daisy told me so! [And Daisy is apparently an all-knowing figure now.] I can't figure out how to make it work though. She says you gotta listen, but I hear nothing! Not even background music.

[She was going to comment on that magic, bit, but uh...]

[Oh, this is another one of those not-game-savvy types.]

... You know, the music that just... plays in a place and changes when you go somewhere else?

It's everywhere! Or at least, it's supposed to be, but Luceti doesn't have any. Whoever heard of a game without background music?!

But I think I know what you mean. It sounds kinda like what happens when Pinkie randomly starts singing.

Well, what the heck else would it be? It's got all the stuff to be a game! And I've never been... outside the game before.

[She shrugs a bit.] Who's this Pinkie? Some friend of yours from wherever you come from?

Must be some game, if you've been playing it your whole life.

[What are these things you call video games? She's certainly never heard of them.]

Yep! She's a bit of a screwball sometimes, but nopony can throw a party like Pinkie Pie.

You'd be lucky if your friend showed up. I've been waiting for Banjo and his dumb furry butt hasn't appeared for the whole time I've been here!

[Two months. Two... honestly lonely months. It's not something Kazooie likes to admit...

... Peach has sort of filled the void, but it's not the same.]

He really needs to get a move on and show up already! Or these dumb Malnosso-guys have to bring him in!
