[Around the village, people are sure to find strange posters getting taped onto buildings, houses, businesses, trees, anywhere where people can't see 'em. Oh, and they're appearing at a rapid rate, as a rainbow streak zips around through the air, occasionally swooping down just long enough to put up more posters. These posters say:

"Tired of people staring because you look a little different? Hate when hue-mans freak out because you can talk?

If you're feeling lost and confused, like you're the only one of you around, then join the Standout Crowd, Luceti's super awesome club for non hue-mans!

And indeed, she will keep hanging around for a bit, stopping near poster sites to see how people react.

So, we all come from different worlds, some that're totally different from the rest. One thing I've noticed is that people still tend to act all confused when I tell 'em that Equestria has no hue-mans. Is it really such a crazy thing to grasp? I mean, it can't be any stranger than the crazy experiments the Malnosso put us through.

I guess what I wanna know is what you guys think of things that are totally different from your idea of "normal". Like 'em, hate 'em? Luceti's definitely good at shaking things up.

Fallen Angels and Fair Folk?

[...Okay, that's new. New and very interesting...]

So what are they?

Oh, hell's bells. Okay. Mythology from the ground up.

"The Fair Folk, or the Fae- more commonly called Fairies- are a sort of spiritual creature from a realm of magic and dreams. They tend to be attuned to magic, and they don't... think normally. Their minds have a bizarre, alien mindset. They can be friendly and helpful, mischievous but well-meaning, or hostile and absolutely freaking terrifying."

I went ahead and left out the part where I'd thought she was one. Maybe I'd get lucky and she'd forget me mentioning it when we first met.

"Angels are beings meant to serve as guardians and protectors of humans and the world, but some fell and turned to selfish purposes, trying to use humans to their own advantage, seeking power and indulging their anger. They're called Fallen angels, and typically they work by tricking people into being their servants."

Huh, those fallen angels sound kinda like Nightmare Moon.

[Hmm... after all, Princess Luna's Celestia's sister, and turning into a scary pony of darkness is a pretty drastic shift.]

But how different do these fairies think? I'm having trouble imagining it.

"... They have all sorts of weird quirks. They love deals- they don't like to give you anything without getting something in return, and don't like to take anything without giving something in return. And they can't lie, but they're masters at stretching the truth to make you think something that's a lie."

Oh, I get it. So they're like tricksters! Trying to weasel their way into getting what they want.

"Calling them tricksters implies a lovably impish and mischievous quality. Most of them are just scary and will get you killed or enslaved if you don't watch it."

Killed?

[...ouch. Yeah, that's... not exactly common in Equestria.]

Sheesh, why would they wanna go that far?

"Sometimes, to get something valuable out of it- to eliminate a threat, or to use their life energy for some weird magic. But... mostly, they do it because they're crazy.

This mostly applies to the Sidhe, the more powerful fairies. The less powerful ones... are still not very nice, but aren't likely to do much more than curse your crops not to grow or something."
